Mi chiamo Fiammetta.
Un nome tipicamente fiorentino, anche se io non sono propriamente fiorentina: sono nata a Chivasso, in Piemonte, da genitori toscani e cresciuta a Pontassieve, una ridente cittadina a sud di Firenze.
Madonna Fiammetta era l’amata di Giovanni Boccaccio, uno dei grandi poeti che ha contribuito alla nascita della lingua italiana. Rispetto alle altre due donne, ispiratrici dei componimenti agli albori della letteratura italiana, la Beatrice di Dante e la Laura di Petrarca, la Fiammetta di Boccaccio era la più “terrena”.
Fiammetta rappresentava l’amore e la passione che ardono e bruciano.
Ecco.
Io terrena sono poco, seppur anche io abbia una passione che arde.

La mia passione, che più brucia, più si alimenta, proprio come una fiamma è quella per l’arte, dalla più antica alla più contemporanea, ma in particolare per quella toscana e fiorentina. È una fiamma che mi fa sentire viva e che mi fa arrivare a sera felice.
